Viscira® Releases 2017 Client Survey Results

Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, today announced the strongest results from its annual client satisfaction survey in company history. 

As part of its customer-centric approach, Viscira surveys all clients on an annual basis to measure level of satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement. Overall, this year's survey found that 94% of respondents are satisfied with the work that Viscira delivers and consider the company to be a valuable business partner. All survey respondents indicated that they would recommend Viscira to colleagues.

In addition to these overall findings, the survey solicited feedback from Viscira’s life sciences clients in the areas of strategy and scientific acumen, creativity and innovation, communication skills and client services, and effective program delivery. In these specific areas, the survey revealed that:

  • 100% of respondents agree or strongly agree that Viscira’s creative execution is elevated from what they see from a traditional brand agency of record (AOR) and other firms
  • 94% of respondents agree or strongly agree that Viscira’s project execution is smooth, meets expectations, and aligns to timelines
  • 100% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their Viscira account lead communicates clearly, effectively, and proactively
  • 94% of respondents agree or strongly agree that executed programs are highly relevant and resonate with their target audiences

Viscira® Extends Strong Business Performance Through Q1 2017

Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, continued its solid business performance into the first quarter of 2017. The company realized a 16% increase in booked revenue for Q1 2017 versus the same period in 2016. This financial result represents the company’s best start to a year ever and comes on top of a previous record booked revenue quarter in Q4 2016.

During the first quarter, Viscira added several major clients to expand its roster of leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device customers. This group of companies is based both in the US and abroad, and includes the company’s first ever customer in China.

Since 2011, Viscira has worked with 21 of the world’s top 25 pharmaceutical companies and has served over 200 unique brands, achieving solid penetration across major products and therapeutic areas.

Viscira® Announces the Hire of New Scientific Director

Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, today announced the addition of Russell Phillips, PhD, to its growing Medical Content team. Phillips joined the company last month in a core strategic leadership role as Scientific Director. Working closely with the executive team, he will help guide the development of medical communications and scientific content at Viscira, providing key strategic insights that will help the company’s medical writing and creative teams fully deliver on clients’ business objectives.

Phillips has had a long career in medical communications at innovative Bay Area healthcare companies, most recently at iRhythm Technologies, where he drove public relations, social media marketing, and sponsored research efforts. His communications experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including neurology, diabetes, cardiology, and oncology. He also helped define the corporate communications strategy for the recent IPO of a digital healthcare solutions company.

Phillips has a PhD in Experimental Psychology/Behavioral Neuroscience from NYU and completed postdoctoral work in Neurobiology at both Boston University and Stanford University.

Viscira® Expands Company Headquarters in San Francisco

Viscira, a leading provider of digital marketing solutions and software products for the life sciences industry, today announced that it has expanded its headquarters at 200 Vallejo Street to include an additional 5,000 square feet.

This nearly 40% increase in the company’s office space in San Francisco will better accommodate the company’s increasing staff and future growth plans. In 2016, Viscira's headcount grew by 10% to 15% in order to service additional clients and growing revenue. The company plans to add another 10% to 20% more staff in 2017 to further support anticipated growth.

Beyond the size difference, the new office space provides a more effective floor plan, a previously networked desk layout, and additional conference rooms, lounge areas, and work areas for creative collaboration, plus possibilities for future expansion.
